why are we still awake

bananafish38: i just wrote the most ridiculous paper ever
bananafish38:
A strong attitude that I possess is that Mexican food is ridiculously delicious. Cognitively speaking, Mexican food is the object I am labeling, and I perceive its involved content to be greasy, white melting cheese with jalapenos, guacamole, shredded chicken, refried beans and lettuce atop a bed of freshly made tortilla chips. My evaluation of the object as “ridiculously delicious” has a positive direction and, speaking palatably, is fairly strong in intensity. My behavioral predisposition towards Mexican food is to not only eat it whenever possible, but to overeat to the point of misery.

bananafish38: I am not sure this attitude can be changed. I believe that even if I was informed that what I was eating was not chicken, but kitten meat, I would probably still inhale it, so long as it was covered in that cheese. The only deviation from this attitude I have ever experienced is a two month period during my sophomore year. I got food poisoning from chimichangas at my favorite Mexican restaurant in Charlotte (which will remain unnamed; I don’t really blame them, and still frequent the place).

bananafish38: I was on my third date with a boy I had really taken a liking to, and became suddenly and violently ill while we were watching a movie in my dorm room. It was an embarrassing and horrific twenty-four hour experience, and curbed my craving for a good two months or so. Yet the fact that I was again able to resume my south-of-the-border dietary habit speaks volumes on just how strong my attitude towards it is. I once got sick from a tuna melt seven years ago and still to this day refuse to eat them.

speaks for itself.
