Time Magazine recently named us the most important person of 2006. At first I felt flattered and began to write my thank you speech but then I realized that the title was not entirely accurate. In fact if you read the article it's downright misleading.

The person of the year isn't me at all. It's the people who upload videos of themselves doing monumentally retarded things to YouTube or leave racist comments on blogs. The person of the year is anyone who has ever vandalized the Wikipedia entry on Sonic the Hedgehog to say that Tails takes it up the ass from Knuckles the Echidna and Sonic is jealous. Finally, the bread and butter of the Internet are getting the recognition they deserve.

Sooooo, on Monday, Conan did a special on fake college mascots, and one of them was the FSU webcam manatee. He mentioned that you could visit HornyManatee.com and went on with the show. They told him afterwards that if you mention a web site that doesn't exist on air, NBC has to buy it.

We found this in our yard this weekend. It's called a Luna moth, and adults only live for 1 week and have no mouths. NO MOUTHS. They have babies, which grow into adults, which live for a week and then die. I really can't figure out what their purpose is in ye olde circle of life, but they are very pretty.

And, here's my hold-the-camera-underneath-the-bug-so-i-can-get-a-cool-pic-of-the-fuzzy-body pic that actually turned out kinda neat and totally looks like it should be on Flickr.

So yeah. Bugs. Neat.

OK, so i realize that language such as "has revealed that the publisher believes" is TOTALLY different than an absolute confirmation of price, but, still. $170!

Speaking exclusively to GamesIndustry.biz, executive VP and COO of EA's worldwide studios, David Gardner, has revealed that the publisher believes the console will retail for around US $170 in North America.

In an interview to be published later this week, Gardner said: "I've heard in Japan that the price is about $170, but I don't know if the price has been set in Europe yet."

Nintendo has so far declined to reveal exact details of a release date or price point for the Wii.
